The Blue Planet investment decision making process is team based. This structure, while answering continuity issues, means that no one person in the group is solely responsible for the management of our Investment Trusts. However, Mr Kenneth Murray is the Chief Investment Officer of Blue Planet Investment Management and as such is responsible for constructing each Investment Trust's portfolio using the recommendations provided by Blue Planet’s team of investment analysts.

3. Can dividends be paid directly into my account?
There are a number of advantages in having your dividends paid direct to your bank account or building society. Monies can be paid into your account immediately without the risk of having cheques lost/delayed in the post. if paid via BACS the tax voucher will be sent to your address.

4. I don't recognize the name of my Investment Trust. Has it changed its name?
Shareholders voted to change the names of the various trusts to reflect the change of name of the Investment Manager after it changed its name from J.P. Cairngorm Asset Management Ltd to Blue Planet Investment Management Ltd.

5. I don’t understand the structure of the Blue Planet Financials Growth & Income Investment Trusts.
A number of investor queries have been received this year regarding the wide bid-offer spread (the difference between the price at which shares may be sold or bought), particularly for the Blue Planet Financials Growth and Income Investment Trust Number 1. Although the Blue Planet Growth and Income Investment Trusts numbers 1 through to 10 are each separate legal entities, to all intents and purposes each is an identical company. The Blue Planet Financials Growth and Income Share Unit was created to trade the shares in the ten trusts as one unit.
Internal analysis shows that over the past 5 years trading in the Unit is over 30 times higher than in the No 1 Trust, making it significantly easier to buy or sell the Unit.

We are of the opinion that stock market investment horizons should be in the order of at least three to five years.
