4. Who are Standard & Poors? Do they rate the Investment Trusts managed by Blue Planet Investment Management Ltd?

Standard & Poors (http://www.funds.morningstar.com), amongst other things, is one of the largest rating agencies in the world providing �the professional investment community with independent, objective information and expertise.� The group monitors over 80,000 Investment Trusts and numerous data fields enabling them to calculate the widely recognized �Standard and Poor�s Investment Trust Stars�.  The S&P's fund data business was aquired by Morningstar in March 2007.

The Investment Trust Stars process �evaluates the performance of an Investment Trust and the consistency of that performance relative to other Investment Trusts in the sector. The S&P Investment Trust Stars is calculated using a Investment Trust's monthly performance relative to its sector average for each of the 36 months over the three years to date. The average and volatility of these 36 numbers is used to calculate an Investment Trust's star rating.� Suppose a sector contains 100 Investment Trusts then 5 Stars = top 10% (10 Investment Trusts); 4 Stars = top 11-30% (20 Investment Trusts); 3 Stars = top 31-50% (20 Investment Trusts); 2 Stars = next 25% (25 Investment Trusts); 1 Star = Bottom 25% (25 Investment Trusts).
